cmEthernetAccPortPcpDEPairsAction

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortPcpDEPairsAction

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.1.1.98

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: PcpDEPairsAction

Access: read-write

Description: This object allows the SNMP user to manage the Priority Code Point (PCP) Drop Eligibility Pairs. When the cmEthernetAccPortPcpDEEncType is of type 7p1d, 6p2d, 5p3d, the cmAccPortPcpDEPairTable can be used to specify alternate pairs of priorities to specify drop eligibility/ ineligibility.

What is cmEthernetAccPortPcpDEPairsAction?

This read-write PcpDEPairsAction, used together with the cmAccPortPcpDEPairTable when the encoding type is 7p1d, 6p2d, or 5p3d, manages alternate priority pairing for PCP Drop Eligibility on the Ethernet Access Port. It lets an administrator remap which PCP priority pairs represent drop-eligible versus non-eligible traffic. For example, an administrator uses this object to reconfigure a 6p2d pairing so two specific priorities share a drop-eligibility pair for a particular QoS policy.
