Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortOuterVlanLoopback1

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.1.1.34

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: This object allows specification of the outer VLAN 1 to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. This is valid only if the corresponding bit in cmEthernetAccPortOuterVlanLoopbackMask is set. The value to be specified should be in the form X-Y where X is the VLAN Id and Y is the VLAN Priority. If Y is specified as a *, all Priorities (0 to 7) are looped back.

What is cmEthernetAccPortOuterVlanLoopback1?

This read-write DisplayString (up to 6 characters) specifies outer VLAN entry 1, in the form VLAN Id-Priority, to be looped back when the port is in VLAN loopback mode and the corresponding mask bit is set. It lets an administrator selectively loop only specific customer VLAN traffic during a facility loopback test. For example, an administrator sets '100-*' so only VLAN 100 traffic at all priorities is looped back for this entry.
