Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortN2AVlanTrunkingEnabled

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.1.1.84

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

What is cmEthernetAccPortN2AVlanTrunkingEnabled?

This read-write TruthValue, applicable only for connection-oriented EVPL service, enables or disables VLAN trunking in the network-to-access direction; disabling it strips all VLAN tags before transmitting traffic out the access port. It is used to hand a customer an untagged interface even though multiple VLANs are trunked on the network side. For example, an administrator disables N2A VLAN trunking so a residential customer's access port receives clean untagged frames despite carrying several VLANs on the network side.
