Description: Enabled: reaction/response to JDSU in-band loopback requests and hallo requests. Disabled: Not reaction/response to JDSU in-band loopback requests and hallo requests. FPGA shall not filter the JDSU control frames to processor. From enabled to disabled, if there is already a JDSU loopback on the port, release current loopback. JDSU loopback doesn't need port in maintenance state.

What is cmEthernetAccPortJDSUControlFramesSnoopingEnabled?

This TruthValue controls whether the access port reacts to JDSU in-band loopback and hello control frames, and disabling it stops the FPGA from filtering those control frames to the processor. Admins enable it to allow field technicians using JDSU test equipment to remotely trigger loopback tests on the port without needing to put it into maintenance state first; disabling it while a JDSU loopback is active releases that loopback immediately. For example, before a JDSU-based circuit acceptance test, the admin enables cmEthernetAccPortJDSUControlFramesSnoopingEnabled so the technician's test set can remotely loop the access port for verification.
