cmEthernetAccPortIngressCOSPriority
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortIngressCOSPriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.1.1.119
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: VlanTagType
Access: read-write
Description: Indicates which VLAN tag to use for PCP Priority to COS mapping when the port Priority Map Mode is 802.1p. Supported values are inner-vlantag and outer-vlantag. This attribute is only applicable on products when Flowpoint Model is supported.
inner-vlantag: The inner VLAN tag PCP Priority of a frame is used for ingress COS mapping. A frame with no inner VLAN tag (untagged or single-tagged) will have a COS equal to the default COS of the port.
outer-vlantag: The outer VLAN tag PCP Priority of a frame is used for ingress COS mapping. A frame with no outer VLAN tag (untagged) will have a COS equal to the default COS of the port.
This attribute has been deprecated and is not supported. Now, the Priority Map Mode indicates whether it is inner or outer. Use priomap-8021p(4) for outer and priomap-8021p-inner(5) for inner.
What is cmEthernetAccPortIngressCOSPriority?
This read-write VlanTagType, applicable when the port's Priority Map Mode is 802.1p and the Flowpoint Model is supported, chooses whether the inner or outer VLAN tag's PCP bits drive ingress COS mapping on the Ethernet Access Port. It determines which tag layer's priority bits actually set the class of service on a double-tagged port. For example, an administrator sets this to inner-vlantag so COS mapping for a QinQ customer service is derived from the inner C-tag priority rather than the outer S-tag.
