Admins configure this to control propagation of Cisco's UplinkFast fast-convergence signaling across the service boundary, similar in intent to the other Cisco-specific STP extension filters. For example, an admin who doesn't want a customer's UplinkFast signaling to interact with carrier-side spanning tree would set cmEthernetAccPortCpdV2UplinkFastDispType to drop on that customer's access port.
