Description: This object allows to enable or disable the automatic Cable Diagnostic tests when the cable is removed from the port.
What is cmEthernetAccPortAutoDiagEnabled?
This read-write TruthValue enables automatic Cable Diagnostic testing on the Ethernet Access Port whenever the cable is removed. It saves an administrator a manual step by triggering a diagnostic run automatically on unplug. For example, an administrator enables this so pulling a suspect patch cable immediately runs a cable diagnostic instead of requiring a separate manual test.
