cmEthernetAccPortAssumedQL
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortAssumedQL
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.1.1.93
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SSMQualityLevel
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows to specify the assumed QL on the Ethernet Access Port. This object is only applicable for Synchronous Ethernet capable ports. The Assumed QL is only meaningful if the Network Clock Type (see fsp150cm-sync.mib) is option1 and the port's QL Mode is disabled and the port is being used as an input reference source. Under these conditions, the specified QL value is assumed to be the Quality Level of the non-failed reference.
What is cmEthernetAccPortAssumedQL?
This read-write SSMQualityLevel, meaningful only when the Network Clock Type is option1, QL Mode is disabled, and the port is used as an input reference source, specifies an assumed Quality Level for the timing reference. It substitutes for real SSM reporting when the upstream equipment does not send QL messages. For example, an administrator manually assigns an Assumed QL for a reference port connected to older equipment that never generates SSM PDUs.
