This object allows to manage the Idle Code for the BITS-OUT port.

What is bitsPortIdleCode?

This OID controls whether the BITS-OUT (Building Integrated Timing Supply output) port transmits idle code patterns when no real timing data is available. Idle code signals that the port is operational but not currently locked. An operator would enable or disable this setting depending on whether downstream equipment expects idle codes to indicate port readiness.
