Module: CISCOSB-LLDP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-LLDP-MIB::rlLldpXMedLocMediaPolicyContainerTagged

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.110.1.2.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: A value of 'true' indicates that the application is using a tagged VLAN. A value of 'false' indicates that for the specific application the device either is using an untagged VLAN or does not support port based VLAN operation. In this case, both the VLAN ID and the Layer 2 priority fields are ignored and only the DSCP value has relevance

What is rlLldpXMedLocMediaPolicyContainerTagged?

This read-write TruthValue, when true, indicates the application uses a tagged VLAN; when false, it indicates an untagged VLAN or no support for port-based VLAN operation, in which case only the DSCP field remains relevant. It tells attached devices how to frame their traffic under this LLDP-MED policy. For example, setting this to false for a policy tells connected devices to use an untagged VLAN, leaving only the DSCP value from that policy applicable.
