What Is CISCO-WAN-VISM-RTP-CONN-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-WAN-VISM-RTP-CONN-CAPABILITY is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module declaring which RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) voice-connection objects of CISCO-WAN-RTP-CONN-MIB are supported by a given release of Cisco's VISM agent. As a conformance/capability declaration, it defines no pollable objects and has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software runtime status. Instead it tells management systems which RTP voice-connection management features are implemented, so they can be validated before being polled from the underlying CISCO-WAN-RTP-CONN-MIB. It is entirely dependent on that base RTP connection MIB for its meaning. It would be used by NMS tooling onboarding Cisco VISM modules that carry voice over RTP. Engineers can download the CISCO-WAN-VISM-RTP-CONN-CAPABILITY file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
