What Is CISCO-FIREPOWER-ORG-MIB?
CISCO-FIREPOWER-ORG-MIB is a Cisco Systems MIB exposing the Firepower management platform's "ORG" (organizational hierarchy) management-information-model package as SNMP objects. Its organization table, identified by Dn/Rn pairs, records each organizational unit's descriptive text, fault-aggregation setting, hierarchy level, name, and permitted-access scope. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator retrieve the Firepower platform's multi-tenant/organizational structure through SNMP. It is deployed on Cisco Firepower security appliances managed via Firepower Management Center with organizational hierarchy configured. Engineers can download the CISCO-FIREPOWER-ORG-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-FIREPOWER-ORG-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Cisco Firepower security appliances
Monitoring Examples
An administrator polls cfprOrgOrgLevel and cfprOrgOrgName via SNMP to confirm the organizational hierarchy configured on a Firepower deployment matches the intended multi-tenant structure.
What Can Be Monitored
