Category: Cisco Devices, Hardware and Environment

Description: Provides management objects for Logical Server (service profile) configuration and instantiation on Cisco UCS/Firepower platforms.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-FIREPOWER-LS-MIB?

CISCO-FIREPOWER-LS-MIB is a Cisco Systems MIB exposing the Firepower management platform's "LS" (Local Services/logical scope) management-information-model package as SNMP objects. Its agent-policy table, identified by UCS-style distinguished-name/relative-name (Dn/Rn) pairs, records a policy's capability set, descriptive text, and operating mode. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator retrieve local-services policy configuration through SNMP alongside Firepower Management Center's native management interfaces. It is deployed on Cisco Firepower security appliances managed via Firepower Management Center. Engineers can download the CISCO-FIREPOWER-LS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-FIREPOWER-LS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco Firepower security appliances

Monitoring Examples

An administrator polls cfprLsAgentPolicyMode and cfprLsAgentPolicyCapability via SNMP to cross-check a Firepower appliance's local-services policy configuration outside of the Firepower Management Center UI.

What Can Be Monitored

  • local-services agent policy configuration
