Category: Cisco Devices, Telephony and VoIP
Description: Monitors Cisco Unified Intelligence Center applications, tracking report generation, data sources, and contact center analytics.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CISCO-CUICAPPS-MIB?
CISCO-CUICAPPS-MIB is a Cisco proprietary MIB for Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC), a clustered contact-center reporting and analytics platform. It exposes per-server general information (name, description, version, start time, time zone), system status, license information, and notification enablement across a CUIC cluster. Its core monitoring value is software status: system status per server reveals health/availability, start time reveals uptime or an unexpected restart, and license info reveals whether reporting capability is about to be lost. It is part of Cisco's broader Contact Center MIB family and is typically deployed alongside CISCO-CONTACT-CENTER-APPS-MIB. It runs on the multiple servers that make up a CUIC reporting cluster in a contact-center deployment. Engineers can download the CISCO-CUICAPPS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-CUICAPPS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC) servers
Monitoring Examples
cuicGeneralInfoTable/cuicGeneralInfoEntry (indexed by cuicGeneralInfoIndex) exposes cuicGeneralInfoSystemStatus and cuicGeneralInfoStartTime per server, letting an admin spot a server that recently restarted unexpectedly or reports a degraded status. cuicGeneralInfoVersion confirms all cluster members run a matching software release, and cuicLicenseInfoTable would be polled to catch a pending license expiration before reporting capability is lost.
What Can Be Monitored
- system status per server
- server start time / uptime
- software version
- license status
- notification enablement
- cluster server count

| cuicSecurityTable | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.8 | not-accessible | This table contains a list of CUIC server's security information. CUIC application is a multiuser system. There can be many number of users and groups configured. This table gives information about users and groups. | |
| cuicSecurityTableGroup | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.2.2.8 | The security group defines the set of objects related to users and groups. All CUIC servers populate these objects. | ||
| G32 cuicSecurityUsersConfigured | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.8.1.2 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates number of users configured to access CUIC application. |
| G32 cuicSecurityUsersLoggedIn | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.8.1.3 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the number of users currently logged in. |
| cuicThreadPoolInfo | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.9 | |||
| cuicThreadPoolInfoGroup | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.2.2.11 | The thread pool information group defines the set of objects for the CUIC reporting engine thread pool. All servers will populate these objects. | ||
| G32 cuicThreadsMaxAvailable | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.9.1 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the maximum number of threads available to the CUIC web server's thread pool manager. |
| G32 cuicThreadsRunning | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.9.2 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the number of threads that are currently running tasks. This counter is useful in monitoring performance of the server. If the number of threads is close to maximum available, then next reporting request will have to wait till a thread becomes free. |
| G32 cuicTomcatThreadsBusy | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.10.7 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the CUIC Tomcat Connector's current number of busy/in-use request processing threads. |
| G32 cuicTomcatThreadsMax | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.10.9 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the Connector maximum number of request processing threads. Each incoming request on a CUIC -related web page requires a thread for the duration of that request. If more simultaneous requests are received than can be handled by the currently available request processing threads, additional threads will be created up to the configured maximum shown in this counter. |
| G32 cuicTomcatThreadsTotal | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.10.8 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the CUIC tomcat Connector's current total number of request processing threads, including available and in-use threads. |
| C32 cuicWaErrorsEx | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.10.1 | Counter32 | read-only | This object indicates the total number of HTTP errors (for example, 401 Unauthorized) encountered by a CUIC-related web application. |
| G32 cuicWaSessionsActive | 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.718.1.10.2 | Gauge32 | read-only | This object indicates the number of currently active (in use) sessions the web application currently has |
