What Is CENTILLION-CONFIG-MIB?
CENTILLION-CONFIG-MIB is a Nortel/Bay Networks vendor MIB, anchored under the CENTILLION-ROOT-MIB sysConfig branch, that manages system-level configuration and maintenance state on Centillion ATM switch platforms. It exposes system image inventory in sysImgTable (sysImgVer, sysImgStatus indicating other/good/bad per stored image), MCP (Multiprocessor Control Processor) redundancy state in sysMcpRedundTable (sysMcpRedundPriority, sysMcpRedundType distinguishing primary/secondary/switching roles, sysMcpRedundOperState), a routing-information-field table (rifTable) for source-route bridging, and SNMP trap-receiver configuration in sysSNMPTrapIPReceiverTable. This surfaces both the software/firmware inventory and the high-availability control-plane state of a chassis, important for confirming a redundant MCP module is in the expected role and that stored system images are valid before a failover or reload. It depends on CENTILLION-ROOT-MIB for shared textual conventions (StatusIndicator, MacAddress) and the sysConfig OID anchor, and is deployed on Nortel/Bay Networks Centillion ATM switch chassis -- administrators can download the CENTILLION-CONFIG-MIB file to load it into their MIB browser.

Monitoring Examples
An operator polls sysMcpRedundTable to confirm the standby MCP reports sysMcpRedundType as secondary with a healthy sysMcpRedundOperState, and checks sysImgStatus in sysImgTable for the loaded image; an MCP entry unexpectedly reporting switching or an image status of bad would indicate an in-progress or failed MCP failover.
