This read-write object controls whether LNM management access uses the default LNM password or instead the first 6 to 8 characters of the switch's own system password, using the EnableIndicator type to toggle between the two. This gives an admin a choice between a separate, LNM-specific credential and reusing (a truncated form of) the switch's main system password for LNM link authentication. For example, enabling this to use the system password means an admin only has to manage one credential for both general switch access and LNM link authentication, at the cost of that LNM credential just being an 8-character prefix of the main password.
