What Is BDCOM-QOS-PIB-MIB?

BDCOM-QOS-PIB-MIB is a BDCOM, Inc. proprietary MIB implementing the QoS Policy Information Base (PIB, COPS-PR-style) for provisioning QoS policy from a centralized PDP (Policy Decision Point). Its objects cover a PIB-incarnation table (incarnation ID, PDP name, incarnation, TTL), a device-attribute table (PEP domain, primary/secondary PDP, max message size, capabilities), an interface-type table (queue type, roles, capabilities), and a DiffServ-mapping table (DSCP, marked DSCP, Layer 2 CoS). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm PDP-provisioned QoS policy and DSCP-to-CoS mapping on a BDCOM device. It is deployed on BDCOM, Inc. networking equipment. Engineers can download the BDCOM-QOS-PIB-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
