What Is ATTO6500N-MIB?

ATTO6500N-MIB is ATTO Technology's vendor MIB for the FibreBridge 6500N, a Fibre Channel-to-SAS storage protocol bridge used to connect SAS-attached disk/tape storage to Fibre Channel SANs. It exposes device identification and inventory objects, bridgeUniqueId, vendorID, modelName, serialNumber, bridgeName, hardwareVersion, alongside dual-bank firmware version and build-date tracking (primary/secondary firmware revision and build date) reflecting the bridge's failover firmware design. Its monitoring purpose centers on hardware and software status: administrators track uptime and lastReboot to catch unexpected restarts, verify primaryFirmwareRevision/secondaryFirmwareRevision to confirm firmware compliance and know which bank is active, and use identification objects for asset tracking; the broader MIB also covers port status and error counters for the FC/SAS bridging ports.
