Category: Vendor: ATEN

Description: Manages power outlet configuration, scheduling, and on/off control on ATEN PE series networked power distribution units.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ATEN-PE-CFG?

ATEN-PE-CFG is an ATEN (enterprise OID 21317) proprietary MIB for PE-series intelligent PDUs, reporting device power/environmental telemetry. Its objects cover model/device name, a device-value table (current, voltage, power, power dissipation, input max voltage/current, power capacity, power factor), a sensor-value table (temperature, humidity, pressure, sensor property), and a device-outlet-status table (per-outlet status). As a status/performance MIB it lets an administrator watch per-outlet power draw and environmental (temperature/humidity) conditions on an ATEN PE-series PDU. It is deployed on ATEN PE-series intelligent PDUs. Engineers can download the ATEN-PE-CFG file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ATEN-PE-CFG. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ATEN PE-series intelligent PDUs

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks deviceCurrent and sensorTemperature to watch power draw and rack temperature on an ATEN PE-series PDU.

What Can Be Monitored

  • per-outlet power draw and environmental telemetry
