If the 'nodeProtected' bit is set, then it indicates that the backup path provides protection against the failure of the next LSR along the LSP.

Indicates the fast-reroute protection status for a hop in an MPLS tunnel's actual route, including whether local repair protection is available downstream and whether it is currently in use following a network failure.
