What is adnsonetSectionOOF?
ADN-MIB::adnsonetSectionOOF counts how many out-of-frame events (momentary losses of SONET frame synchronization) have occurred, as opposed to a continuous frame loss. Network teams use this to spot bursty or intermittent framing problems caused by jitter, noise, or clock issues rather than permanent link failure. A counter showing 10 events in an hour suggests environmental noise is causing temporary sync loss, whereas a value of 0 means the framing has been stable.
