What is adnsonetPathConfigAIS?
This OID controls whether the device sends a permanent alarm indication signal (AIS) on the path during maintenance outages. Engineers enable this to notify all downstream equipment that the path is unavailable, preventing cascading alarms and allowing automated failover mechanisms to engage. Setting this to 'enabled' makes your device continuously send AIS downstream on the path, signaling that no valid traffic is available and remote systems should switch to backup routes.
