What is adnsonetLineConfigRDI?
This OID controls whether the device sends a permanent remote defect indication (RDI) or FERF signal on the SONET/SDH line to the far-end equipment. Engineers enable this during maintenance or troubleshooting to alert the remote side that your equipment has detected a problem. Setting this to 'active' makes your device continuously signal to the far end that it is experiencing a defect, which helps isolate where the issue originates.
