Description: Number of severely errored seconds (SES) encountered during the current 15-minute interval.
What is adnsonetCurrentSESs?
This gauge counts seconds in the last 15 minutes where the error rate was so high the signal was effectively unusable (more than 30% bit errors). An engineer escalates when this counter rises because it means the line is severely degraded and needs immediate attention. A reading of 8 means 8 out of the last 900 seconds were severely corrupted—usually a sign of physical layer failure like a bad cable.
