Description: Number of background errored blocks (BBE) encountered during the 24-hour reporting period. It is the sum of BBE statistics for the 96 15-minute intervals.
What is adnX3TotalBBEs?
ADN-MIB::adnX3TotalBBEs sums up all background errored blocks (small data corruption events) collected over 24 hours from 96 quarters of data. Tracking BBEs helps engineers detect whether line quality is slowly degrading and whether environmental factors (temperature, humidity, cable stress) are causing problems. A value of 100 per day is acceptable for most circuits; values over 1000 suggest the line is approaching failure and maintenance is needed.
