What is adnX3PlcpOOFCounter?
This counter increments each time the Physical Layer Convergence Protocol temporarily loses frame alignment without losing it completely—the PLCP equivalent of OOF. A rising PLCP OOF counter indicates marginal signal quality at the physical layer that needs investigation. A count of 30 PLCP OOF events in an hour suggests timing instability in the optical or electrical signal.
