Description: Duration of far end received failure (FERF) received from the remote equipment at path level. FERF is also called remote alarm indication (RAI) or received yellow alarm. Counter #10 of the ATM core, only available on BBE3Bx boards and BBTP3C board with HATE3C applique.
What is adnX3PathferfCounter?
This counter measures the duration the interface received a yellow alarm at the ATM path level (a higher layer than the line level) from the remote equipment. A path-level FERF indicates the remote side's ATM path is experiencing problems and needs troubleshooting above the physical layer. A value of 12000 milliseconds shows the remote's path layer has been faulty for 12 seconds.
