Description: Number of P-bit parity errors. Counter #4 of the ATM core, only available on BBT3Bx boards and BBTP3C board with HATT3C applique.
What is adnX3PBitCounter?
This counter tallies the total number of parity errors detected in the P-bit channel of DS3 frames transmitted on this interface. You'd check this counter when diagnosing signal quality issues on the DS3 line, as parity errors indicate corruption in the overhead bytes. A counter reading of 250 means the interface has detected 250 P-bit corruption events since the device was last reset.
