What is adnX3MsferfTest?
This OID is a test control variable (read-write integer) that triggers the transmission of a constant yellow alarm (FERF) signal at the DS3 frame level to the remote equipment. A technician sets this during troubleshooting or maintenance to verify that the remote equipment correctly receives and responds to frame-level alarm signals. Setting this to an active value causes a yellow alarm to continuously transmit to the far end, allowing verification that the remote side detects the condition.
