Description: Number of C-bit parity errors. Counter #5 of the ATM core, only available on BBT3Bx boards and BBTP3C board with HATT3C applique.
What is adnX3CBitCounter?
This counter keeps a running total of all parity errors found in the C-bit (control-bit) field of DS3 frames on this port. This counter is important for monitoring the integrity of the control overhead on the DS3 link. If this counter increments rapidly, it signals transmission quality degradation and you should check cable conditions or optical signal strength.
