What is adnX3Bip8Counter?
This counter totals the number of bit-interleaved parity (BIP-8) errors detected in the DS3 path layer, an error-detection mechanism that checks 8-bit chunks. This is a key metric for assessing whether the ATM path is degraded due to transmission errors. A BIP-8 count of 75 indicates the port found 75 erroneous path-level chunks.
