Description: Indicates whether the SNMP agent is permitted to generate STR (Software Trouble Report) traps. The value of this object provides a means whereby all STR traps may be disabled. Common name: Send SW Trouble Traps.
What is adnTrapEnableStr?
This setting controls whether the SNMP agent sends Software Trouble Report (STR) traps when software-related problems are detected (enabled or disabled). You would enable this if you want to be notified immediately when software faults occur, rather than discovering them during manual checks. Disabling it suppresses software fault notifications entirely.
