Description: Indicates whether the SNMP agent is permitted to generate minor traps. The value of this object provides a means whereby all minor traps may be disabled. Common name: Send Minor Traps.
What is adnTrapEnableMinor?
This setting controls whether the SNMP agent is allowed to send minor severity traps to management stations (enabled or disabled). You would configure this to reduce alert noise if minor issues are cluttering your monitoring dashboards. Setting it to disabled means the device will stop sending low-severity notifications, so only important alerts reach your NMS.
