Description: Indicates whether the SNMP agent is permitted to generate diagnostic traps. The value of this object provides a means whereby all diagnostic traps may be disabled. Common name: Send Diagnostic Traps.
What is adnTrapEnableDiagnostic?
This setting controls whether the SNMP agent sends diagnostic test result traps (enabled or disabled). You would enable this during troubleshooting or system startup to capture diagnostic information, and disable it during normal operation to reduce unnecessary alerts. Setting it to disabled means the device won't notify you of routine diagnostic test completions.
