Description: Indicates whether the SNMP agent is permitted to generate critical traps. The value of this object provides a means whereby all critical traps may be disabled. Common name: Send Critical Traps.
What is adnTrapEnableCritical?
This controls whether the device sends critical-severity alarm notifications to the management station. When set to disabled, all critical alerts are suppressed—useful during maintenance windows. You might disable this temporarily to prevent alert storms during system updates.
