Description: The duration for which the line has been in the 'off' state. This object applies to V35 and V36 lines of the HBCEU board. The 'off' state of the line is defined by : NOT (dcd up AND tm down AND (dsr up OR cts up)).
What is adnRs232PortDuration?
This read-only counter tracks how many seconds an RS232 line has been in the 'off' state (no DCD, or DTM, or DSR/CTS signals) on V35 and V36 interfaces. A network engineer monitors this to detect persistent line failures or signal problems and to diagnose why a remote site has lost connectivity. For example, a value of 3600 means the line has been inactive for 1 hour, which would trigger an alert if this is an active connection.
