Description: The machine number part of adnDnodeIndex, the routing node ID of the node at the remote endpoint.
What is adnRemNodeMacNum?
This read-only OID stores the machine/device number component (integer) of the remote node's identifier in the routing system. Network engineers use this to parse the full ID of a distant routing node and cross-reference it with documentation or other MIBs. For example, if this is 5 and the area number is 2, the full node address might be 2.5 (area 2, machine 5).
