adnPmdNodeFilterStatus

Module: ADN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnPmdNodeFilterStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.18.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This variable defines whether or not the post mortem dump (PMD) filter is enabled at the node level. The NMS can activate, deactivate or reset the PMD filter using this variable. After the reset action, the variable takes back its previous value at node level (either enable or disable). The node level is the highest one in the hierarchy. If the PMD filter is disabled at the node level, it is also disabled at the board and processor levels. If it is enabled at the node level, it is enabled or disabled at board level according to the status at this level.

What is adnPmdNodeFilterStatus?

This read-write OID enables, disables, or resets filtering on post mortem dumps at the node level to reduce the amount of debug data collected. Network engineers use filtering to focus on specific types of failures and reduce the volume of debug information that must be analyzed. For example, enabling the filter might limit PMD collection to only memory-related failures, ignoring other event types.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.18.1.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnPmdNodeFilterStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.18.1.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnPmdNodeFilterStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.18.1.1.4.1 i <value>
