Module: ADN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnPhyChannel

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.16.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The number of the channel that supports this ifIndex. Line-level interfaces have a channel value of zero. Common Name: Channel

What is adnPhyChannel?

This OID stores the channel number on a given line, with zero indicating a line-level interface without a specific channel. Network engineers use this to distinguish between individual virtual channels on Frame Relay or similar services when diagnosing connectivity problems. For example, a value of 0 shows this is a line-level interface, while 5 would indicate channel 5 on that line.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.16.1.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnPhyChannel

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.16.1.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnPhyChannel.1
