Description: This field indicates the type of the network. It is the same for all nodes inside a same network. This object is used by ATM signalling to fill in the location field of the CAUSE Information Element in the release messages. This object could be used by Frame Relay signalling as well.
What is adnNodeNetworkType?
This OID identifies the type of network backbone (such as ATM or Frame Relay) that all nodes within this network use for signaling. Network engineers need to know the network type to correctly configure ATM signaling parameters or understand message formatting standards. A value indicating ATM means all signaling messages follow ATM protocol rules.
