Description: A unique value for each node in the agent's domain. This object corresponds to the adnEquipIndex in the equipment table. Release 2.0 and 2.1 only have one entry in the node table, but multiple entries may be present for the regional CU (control unit) environment. Common name: Node Index
What is adnNodeIndex?
This read-only integer uniquely identifies each node managed by the SNMP agent, corresponding to the primary equipment index of that node. Network administrators use this as a primary key in monitoring queries and configuration databases to reference specific network nodes. A value of 1 identifies the primary node, while larger values identify secondary or redundant nodes in a distributed system.
