What is adnMinTimeBetCalc?
This read-write OID sets the minimum time interval (in seconds or milliseconds) between successive route calculations, preventing the routing algorithm from recalculating paths too frequently. An engineer tunes this to balance routing responsiveness against CPU load—frequent recalculations catch failures quickly but consume more resources. For example, setting this to 30 seconds means the system will wait at least 30 seconds between routing recalculations, even if multiple topology changes are detected.
