Description: The current maximum value for the mid-priority cost metric value. Initialized to a release specific default, SNMP changeable. What is adnMetricMaxMid?
This read-write OID stores the current maximum allowable cost for mid-priority path metrics—routes exceeding this value are filtered out, as an integer. Network engineers adjust this to fine-tune which secondary-tier paths the router considers, providing a second level of path quality control. For example, if bandwidth is the mid-priority metric, setting this to 25 Mbps ensures the router only uses paths with that minimum throughput.
