Description: The low-priority default cost metric value used for the specified Type Of Service, criterion. The default value is set up at initialization. Thus, initially, 'adnMetricMaxLow' is equal to 'adnMetricDefLow'. This 'adnMetricDefLow' allows easy recall of exactly what the default value is.
What is adnMetricDefLow?
This read-only OID stores the factory-default maximum cost value for low-priority (third-level) routing metrics, initialized at startup as an integer. Network engineers use this as a reference point when validating that the route-filtering configuration matches the original system design. For example, if this shows 200 but the current active maximum is 400, the engineer knows the low-priority threshold has been loosened significantly.
