Description: Maximum number of paths per node in the node-to-path routing table for a specific type of service and criterion.
What is adnMaxPath?
This OID specifies the maximum number of alternative paths the system will maintain per node in its routing table for a specific service type and routing criterion. An engineer adjusts this value to balance between redundancy (more paths) and routing table size and CPU overhead. For instance, setting this to 3 means the system keeps the 3 best routes to each destination, but any additional paths are discarded to save memory.
