Description: Number of underrun error that occurred during transmission (G.703 (DS1 or E1) line driver only).
This object is not relevant to the v-series or FLIP (fake line internal process) line drivers which will respond to an SNMP Get command with a value of zero.
This object has the same value as rs232SyncPortTransmitUnderrunErrs in the rs232SyncPortTable for the v-series Line Driver (LDR).
What is adnLdrChanUnderRunErrOUT?
This counter measures transmission underrun errors, which occur when the line driver runs out of data to send when the hardware is ready to transmit. Underrun errors show that your data source can't keep pace with the line speed, creating gaps in the bitstream. A high count means your application or upstream system isn't feeding frames fast enough to this line driver.
