This object is not relevant to the v-series (RS232, V.35, V.36, or X.21) or FLIP (fake line internal process) line drivers which will respond to an SNMP Get command with a value of zero.
This object has the same value as rs232SyncPortFrameCheckErr in the rs232SyncPortTable for the v-series line driver.
What is adnLdrChanCrcErrIN?
This counter measures incoming frames that arrived with CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) errors, indicating the data was corrupted in transit. A climbing CRC error count signals cable problems, electrical noise, or hardware degradation that degrades data integrity. For example, if this jumps from 5 to 50 errors within a few minutes, you likely have a loose connector or environmental interference on the line.
