Description: Number of received frames aborted (G.703 (DS1 or E1) line driver only).
This object is not relevant to the v-series (RS232, V.35, V36, or X.21) or FLIP (fake line internal process) line drivers which will respond to an SNMP Get command with a value of zero.
This object has the same value as rs232SyncPortAbortedFrames in the rs232SyncPortTable for the v-series line driver.
What is adnLdrChanAbortIN?
This counter tracks the number of incoming frames that were aborted on the G.703 line driver (DS1 or E1 interfaces). Network engineers monitor this metric to detect line quality issues, protocol timing problems, or synchronization failures on synchronous serial links. A rising value like going from 10 to 100 aborts over an hour suggests the transmission line is becoming unstable and needs immediate investigation.
