Description: Defines the IP address of any host that needs to communicate with the HSS for network management purposes. This field is used internally by the internal subscriber subsystem to link IP addresses to internal subscriber subsystem data link connection identifiers (DLCI). At a minimum, the IP address of the A1100 NMS must be entered. Any other hosts using applications that would access the HSS need their IP address entered here.
What is adnIsnaRouteIpAddrs?
This OID stores the IP address (in standard dotted-decimal format) of a management host that needs to communicate with the system for monitoring or administration. An engineer adds entries here to ensure the NMS (Network Management Station) and other management tools can reach the system over the correct virtual circuits. For example, if the NMS is at 192.168.1.100, that IP must be entered so the device knows to route trap messages and responses to that address.
