Description: This object represents the backup internal connection ifIndex for a given internal connection defined between internal subscriber node administrator and internal subscriber operation and maintenance.
What is adnIsnaIcBckIfindex?
This OID contains the interface index number (between -2,147,483,648 and 2,147,483,647) of the backup internal connection associated with a given primary connection. A network engineer uses this to map which backup interface handles failover traffic and to trace the physical port assignments in the routing table. For instance, if the primary connection uses ifIndex 5, its backup might be ifIndex 12, allowing the engineer to identify the exact physical line to troubleshoot.
